The PRIMARY consideration is that you are experienced in life, resourceful. and patient.  You must have an ability to to interact with people, and derive pleasure and satisfaction from seeing others develop and excel as a result of your work.  No formal experience is necessary, however a suitable TEFL course is HIGHLY recommended, and if well-chosen is worth its weight in Gold !
