One-way Plane Ticket to China

Most people come to teach in China on a return air ticket. However if things work out well for you, then eventually the return leg of your original ticket will expire, and effectively be a waste of money.

There is a possibility that an immigration official may challenge you on entry (either at a PRC port of entry or at HK), and require an outward ticket before allowing you to enter. In spite of the possibility, we have never yet heard of such a thing happening.
