Choose your area well !

Don't be cavalier about the area you choose to teach in in China.

Quite a few parts of the country have extremes of temperature and if, for example, you don't like extreme cold or heat, now's the time to get it right.

Research your area well, or you could end up being needlessly uncomfortable (or extremely uncomfortable !)

Likewise pay attention to your necessities of life. If you're a city dweller and like the presence of people, services and shops, being miles and hours away in a remote rural area may again not suit you...
